Dendritic Corneal Ulcer - Lasik Term and Glossary

An infection of the cornea, usually caused by the virus Hel}JeS simplex. Dendritic ulcers tend to recur. They can be treated by eye m-ops or ointments prescribed by your eye doctor. A dendritic ulcer is normally invisible to the naked eye. Symptoms are discomfort in the infected eye and perhaps some loss of vision. The white of the eye will probably be reddened. If you have such symptoms, see your eye doctor as soon as possible.
