Intrastromal Corneal Ring Segments - Lasik Term and Glossary

An investigational refractive eye surgery procedure that involves the implantation of plastic ring segments in the peripheral area of the cornea in order to change its contour to the shape desired to correct cases of nearsightedness. It is considered to be adjustable and reversible.
